I was pretty unsure when buying this adapter but I desperately needed one for the time being. I have a Dell Latitude D530 and this charger works exactly how I want it to. If your having doubts, doubt no more.

I bought this adapter with over night delivery, because I desperately needed a charger for my dell latitude D630, and it arrived the very next day.
But I was furious when I found out that it wasn’t even working properly! My laptop charges for 5 seconds, before it stops charging for another 5, only to start charging for 5 seconds again. And this process continues. This is NOT how a power adapter is supposed to work!! And I’m afraid this will just damage my laptop battery instead of actually Charging it!!
It was a bad idea buying this!!

If you’re looking for a good alternative to the more expensive Dell product, this is the one for you. The pack and cord are compatible with my Latitude D630. If you’re going to have to buy a new cord once a year, you may as well save some money by buying this product over the Dell product.
