Don’t make the mistake of paying $80 retail for this junk. Don’t even pay $50, which is the Amazon price. These work well with a low-powered device, such as an MP3 player, but the bass is overpowering when connected to a home stereo or computer. The result is a muddy, unnatural-sounding mess. And whereas better headphones distribute weight across the top of the head via a padded band, these headphones squeeze the sides of your head pretty hard and aren’t comfortable by any measure.

Spend your money on the excellent Sony MDR-V600, instead. They cost a $20 more, but sound and feel like a million bucks.

  2. These head phones are really worth the money. They deliver such an amazing bass. The cushion on these head phones are really nice. The reason why it wasn’t a five is because they are not the easiest thing to walk around with , it kinda feels like a neck brace .Perfect use for in room or caring them around in a backpack . All in all I still love these headphones.

  3. I bought a pair of these headphones after staring at the headphone aisle for about an hour. I was not impressed with the sound. They are very bassy, as promised, but the rest of the music sounds muffled. I returned them a day later and bought Bose in-ear headphones. They are much cleaner and more crisp sounding and also have a good amount of bass.

I gave these to my boyfriend for Christmas because he makes and records piano and drum music on the computer. He absolutely loves them. They’re comfortable and the sound is amazing. Definitely the most reasonably priced for others like it. I compared them to my Bose over the ear headphones and they’re just as good if not better. The bass is pretty intense, but if you don’t like it, all you need to do it turn it down on whatever equipment you’re using. The cord is also a litttle bit short, but it hasn’t been too much of a problem. Overall, great quality, super comfortable, and reasonably priced. Oh, and they come with a carrying bag. SHWEEEEET.

Great sound. Extremely comfortable. My teenage son hardly takes them off. I definitely recommend these headphones!
