They're made of extremely durable materials - it feels like canvas sailcloth on top and is then lined with a waterproof coating underneath. This cover definitely won't crack after exposure to the elements. <br /> <br />Fitwise, the cover is very generous. My love seat was only a few inches shorter than the stated dimensions and my cover goes all the way to the ground. It's nice to have the extra protection, but it also doesn't look as tailored as the picture depicts. Be sure to check the manufacturer's website for a chart of exact sizes for all of their products. <br /> <br />Each cover has a locking belt that you can loop around one of the seat legs in order to keep it in place on the windiest of days. It also has a locking elastic drawstring along the bottom seam to further prevent billowing. Finally, there are heavyweight handles sewn in to help with removing and replacing the cover. <br /> <br />The design of these covers is attractive and modern. The two complementary earth tones are actually stitched together, i.e. it's not just a two-tone fabric. I have unfortunately noticed some variation in color between different covers, e.g. all of my chair covers are identical, but my love seat and table covers are slightly more yellow than tan on top. But this minor issue can't come close to outweighing all of the good that these covers deliver. <br /> <br />The sturdiness of the build, coupled with the attractiveness of the design and nice extras like the anti-wind measures make this a great furniture cover.
